The dynamic team of Captain Matthew and First Mate/Chef Michelle will host your Sailing yacht charters. Matthew and Michelle, both natives of South Africa, share a common passion for sailing and adventure, which has led them to settle in the Islands of the Caribbean.

Matthew left a successful career as a litigation attorney for the adventure and excitement of a life at sea. He is an internationally recognized MCA Yachtmaster and has xtensive sailing expereience in the Indian and Atlantic oceans, the Mediterranean and North seas as well as in the Caribbean. He is also a PADI Divemaster with considerable knowledge of and experience in the BVI dive and snorkeling sites. His expert seamanship skills and vast water sport knowledge will ensure that you experience the best of what the BVI and Arabesque have to offer. Surfing and safaris into the wilder parts of Southern Africa in his Land Rover occupy Matthew's time when he is not leading exotic sailing vacations in paradise.

Michelle perfected her culinary skills in the famous wine valleys of South Africa's Western Cape. Having traveled extensively, your customized gourmet meals are derived from Mediterranean, Asian, African, American and Caribbean cuisine. She has worked as a chef and manager in fine hotels in South Africa and served on yachts in the Mediterranean. She has completed several certification courses in marine skills to allow her to ably assist Matthew in all of the many activities that Arabesque offers. Michelle is also a professional singer and guitarist and she delights in performing for her guests under the stars in moonlit bays.

Matthew and Michelle are an easy going, fun loving couple who enjoy entertaining their guests. If you love activity, they will keep you busy all day enjoying Arabesque's many watersports amenities. If you want to sample the unique nightlife of the islands, they can keep you hopping until the wee hours at the islands' hottest nightclubs. If your interest is in a romantic getaway, they will whisk you away to some of the secluded and picturesque coves in the area. The choice is yours, as they will customize the itinerary to make sure that your time on Arabesque exceeds all of your expectations.
